Julie Zuckerberg is a recruiter whose star is on the rise. She specializes in talent acquisition and management in the greater New York area. Zuckerberg is currently employed at Deutsche Bank as an Executive Talent Acquisition Lead, a role she’s held since 2014.
Her current position affords her the opportunity to work with business leaders to shape recruitment strategies and help guide process improvements. She’s called upon to develop and negotiate Managing Director level offers, provide coaching to her team of recruiters, and counsel leadership and executive committees. She’s also served as an Executive Recruiter within Talent Acquisition, where she managed company business relationships and looked after contract governance.
Zuckerberg has over fifteen years of talent acquisition experience. Prior to her role at Deutsche Bank, she was employed by the New York Life Insurance Company as Corporate Vice President and Experienced Hire Recruiting Lead. She managed the recruitment process and worked with management to analyze customer needs. Before joining New York Life, she worked at Citi.
At Citi, Zuckerberg served as Vice President and Executive Recruiter. She held her positions at Citi for over six years. Among her many job duties, she negotiated senior level complex job offers, provided advice on recruitment strategies, and sourced talent globally.
The five years before joining Citi she worked for Hudson as the Director of Candidate Placement. Zuckerberg recruited case managers, paralegals, attorneys and support staff for temporary and temp-to-hire positions for numerous corporations, financial institutions, and legal firms. She was also in charge of conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling. Her success in the field of talent acquisition follows from her solid work ethic and a strong educational foundation.
Zuckerberg attended City University of New York-Brooklyn College where she studied philosophy. From there she changed course and attended the New York Law School, before landing in the field of talent acquisition.

Experience can often be the best teacher. Over the years, Zuckerberg has had the privilege of working with a group of tremendous mentors who’ve helped her broaden her skill set. She is now well versed in talent management and acquisition, team leadership, human resources, conflict resolution employee training, coaching, and sourcing. She’s particularly interested the ways technological advances can be used to increase industry efficiency.
Outside of work, Zuckerberg enjoys taking advantage of the New York City’s vibrant cultural scene. She’s a fierce advocate of animal welfare, human rights, and the economic empowerment of historically underrepresented populations.
